About two weeks ago I watched BBC's Click and I found a animoto.com. Animoto.com turns your pics into very cool videos. I tried it myself and the result was so gorgeous that I used a few of them for my group's video assignment. Take a look at these videos created usng animoto.com.

GAIA @ Manukan

On June 15th I was in a trip to Manukan. Manukan is an island just about half an hour outside of KK. The trip was part of a group project for Environment Management. And as the title suggest, our group was called GAIA.

Our main activity was jungle trekking and a visit to the exhibition center.

From one of the jungle trekking spot I could see KKIA.

The ardous (when doing it) but fun (after finishing it) part of the trip was when we went to the the main beach via the side of the mountain err... I meant island. There is where we have to went through a series rock formation. It felt like Frodo's and Sam's journey in one of the scenes in Lord of the Rings.

Our trip was somehow cut short by the looming rain, wind and strong current (I found out later it was raining on KK). So we had to went home earlier than we planned. Who knows, maybe Sauron was angry and wanted to "bind" all of us there.

At night, my whole body including my throat was painful. A Saruman spell? If it was, it wasn't strong. Two pills of Panadol Actifast and a lozenge solved the problem. Except for the muscle inside my legs...

By the way, if you don't see me in the videos, that's because I was behind the camera! :-p

Invoked Feeling

Watching the 2nd episode of a japanese drama series Operation Love yesterday makes me feel very happy even until today. It open up a feeling akin to a love that is returned. Although it must be said that I'm not in love with anyone. That drama must be very good (at least the 2nd episode).

Creative Banner Production

I never learn how to create banners. Today I saw how my group did it. Its a combination of a pc with Microsoft Word installed, a lcd projector, a wall with a sheet of cloth stapled on it, pencils and some colouring thingy. One thing cross my mind, if Microsoft saw Word can be that useful, they'll charge more!

After the Frustration

I'm reminded a few times today that sometimes no matter how hard you try, some things will never go the way you want. This happens many times in my life. Letting go when its time will open a new door that lead to a new experience that can be both fulfilling and enlightening.

Just saw my result today. Unexpectedly, I actually got an A- for Project Paper 2 (Part 2). Even with my hopeless report.

However, my fears was confirmed as I failed the statistic paper.

But on the bright side, I managed to pass the accounting exam. That mean I don't have to took it again!
